MTF
Message Text Format (MTF) is the NATO way of writing a formatted military message so that people and machines can both read it.
Context
The messages themselves are listed in APP-11, and ADatP-3 sets the rules for building them. An MTF message can be carried as slash-delimited text or as XML (MTF-XML). The content is the same. The syntax differs.
