Context

It suits links that come and go, such as HF conditions that change with the hour or satellite passes. Paired with a priority queue, it lets urgent traffic go first when a window opens.

How Gridnorth handles it

Gridnorth queues messages by priority and holds them until a link is available. This is designed behaviour that we have not yet published measurements for.
